Chronicling Milan

With Liz studying for uni exams, and me doing assessments in my uni "break", we haven't had a lot of time to blog, so we apologise. Although we will be back on track very soon so here is a little inspiration until then.

Milan fashion week has just wrapped up, and once again many designers delivered traditional Italian aesthetic and handcrafted garments whilst keeping the designs and atmosphere fresh and exciting. Often the real spectacle is on the streets though, with street fashion photographers such as Tommy Ton capturing moments of pure drama and class.

Therefore, our inspiration has been in capturing the theatrics of fashion, whilst being mindful of the smaller details. And yes, in another form of procrastination, I did paint a little bow tie on my fingernail.

P.S. If you're needing a break from uni/ work or just a bit more fashion inspiration, do yourself a favour and watch the film 'Anna Karenina'. I did so the other day, and whilst the film itself was a bit different and received mixed reviews, the costumes were breathtaking.
